How do I change the sketch plan? (CATIA V5)

Hi all

I drew a spring in the xz plan but when I moved on to the assembly I realized that it had to be drawn in the xy plan. Is there an option to change the plane in which I sketched? If so, how?

Hello, You have to right-click on the sketch in the construction tree

At the very bottom you will see a "Sketch Object" menu and in it there is the "New Sketch Support" function

Sorry I don't have a screenshot to offer you but I don't use Catia anymore

Hello 

If you use constraints to position your parts, you shouldn't have a problem if your part was drawn in this or that plane. A good way to free yourself from this kind of question (and the constraints in part) is to use a skeleton.
