How to make a Logitech M555 mouse for Solidworks? Thank you

Hello, there is a tutorial here, should I translate? http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?19865-Logitech-mouse-wheel-not-panning

The best way is to download the driver from logitech.

It allows you to have the right configuration software as well as the right driver.

Then, just open the application, to set up your mouse buttons.

Hello

You must download the Set Point software using the following link:

http://support.logitech.com/fr_be/product/5747

Then you should especially pay attention to the wheel which has two speeds by default. This feature is very useful for office applications, internet, etc.

However, it is not useful for SolidWorks since when you press the wheel you activate the rotation. If you leave the default properties you won't have access to the rotation since when you press the dial you will change scroll speeds.

To use the rotation button, you must enable the "Middle Button" function for SolidWorks as visible in the attachment.

Then on the M555 you don't seem to have many buttons available.

Personally, I have been using an MX Revolution for many years. The common point with your mouse is the wheel.

Kind regards.
