I'd like to configure a variable in a Config Publisher from my part family that contains only one line. According to the help it's doable and from what I read on this forum a "list" and "number" line should appear except that I don't have the "number" line for my variable
How can it be made to appear?

well I found it on my own! I removed the default configuration (blank welding) and it worked.

To be able to create variables in Config-Publisher, you do not need to generate the Publisher with a part family already filled. Create it from a unique piece without configuarations.
The Publisher configuration edited from existing configurations is just a list of choices based on the part family.
The Publisher configuration created from a single part (without configs or part family) gives much more possibilities.
