How to quickly cut a chassis in half (by a plane)

Hello

I got the plans of a chassis on a future version of  mine

I want to quickly cut this frame  with a plane, then plant the left part, then the right part.

Is it possible???

Perform 2 material removal functions associated with 2 configurations.
You will therefore have 3 configurations:
- Complete chassis
- straight chassis
- Left chassis

Hello

It is also possible to use the Split  tool combined with the delete /keep volume body function.

After either make 3 configurations (as said by Stefbeno) or, or even, 1 configuration  but 3 appearances which avoids the delete function. (just hide the volume)
