How to create a texture with transparent parts

Hello

I'd like to create a texture from a PNG image so that I can have transparent parts like you can have in the Link Chain texture.

Hello

For my part, I would just make a link like your image and I would do a repetition as you need. There you will have transparency but with a texture I don't think it's possible...

If your image is "clean", you can use the selective color mask (see attached image).
