I'm a bit new to folding. I would like to draw this on solidworks. The problem is at the level of the 70 and 90 ratings. Or do I stop them? I would like to draw it so that Solidworks can unfold it for me. I know the method but here, on the drawing as such, I'm a little lost for these 2 sides. Thank you for your answers!!
Just draw and offset the entities, then you immediately select the part you want to have under construction in the option (one of the last two boxes in the option), then you dimension and convert to sheet metal and that's it.
You have 2 possibilities: - draw the profile of a stroke by making constructions (the method proposed by @ac cobra427) - Start from a simple sidewall and successively make the folds (fold on edges). By playing around with the available options, you will have your profile quite easily.
For the Ri, it depends mainly on the machine and the material. In general, to avoid surprises, we actually take Ri=thickness.
