How to duplicate a view

Hello again,

In a drawing I insert a view, on the other hand if I need an identical view how can I do it it is no longer part of the choices in the view palette.

Good evening

You have to right-click on the view, then "Alignment", "Break alignment". Then you can duplicate it by copying and pasting on the same sheet or on another sheet.

When inserting a new view, you do not copy the ratings and dimensions of the view. To do this, we select the view in the tree and by doing CTRL C then clicking in the 3D and doing a CTRL V. You can also press CTRL and then select the frame of the view (dashed) and drag it elsewhere in the window.

FYI on the 2014 version, the views already inserted in the drawings will still appear in the view palette
