How do you perform symmetry?

Hello I would like to know how to perform a symmetry of a function using a 45° plane, I have the idea and the image in mind, what I have a problem with is the setting of the plane I don't know how to do it.

I enclose a sketch of the play in general.

I'm on SOLIDWORKS 2016............................................................. Thank you for your help!  :)

Create a point, then an axis that passes through this point and then the plane that passes through the axis.

The point will be in the plane of your drawing, the axis normal to this plane.

In view of your disposition, why not rather make a respite around an axis? It seems to me to be the simplest

Hello

Otherwise you can use median planes according to the width of your room and this length to then create an axis with their intersection, and make a circular repetition of 2 elements on 360°. This way, no matter how big your basic piece is, your elements will always be arranged correctly. Of course, these elements must have a shape that allows this method to be used, because a circular repetition is not a sysmetry.
