Hello everyone, When I make a new boss or a new mechanically welded to create a part, the body immediately starts to appear, I am forced to remove its appearance to see the part normally. Anyone know where I could change the default appearance settings? (unless it comes from something else)

Wouldn't it be your model part for the welded mechanic that would be transparent?
What version of SolidWorks?
SW 2016?
I checked, the appearance of my models is indeed 0 in transparency. Yes, it's SLD 2016.

Thank you gt22 but I'm trying to remove the transparency from the creation of the body rather than after, I don't see myself having to uncheck this box every time I create a body ;)
but you don't have to uncheck this box every time
there it is ticked on your basic part so all the parts you see and that you will create will be transparent and this is the case in the visual
your angle and your dish are transparent and if you redo a piece since it's ticked it will also be transparent
so tick your eye and it should be enough to have a normal appearance

I unchecked the box that says but it takes away the appearance of my dish, then I have to remove all the appearances if I want my angle iron to come back normal.
But that doesn't solve that with each new piece I will have to redo it. And that's what I want to avoid.
I didn't have this problem on the 2014 version.
Move on to SP5, it's the most accomplished version.
if you click at the top of your column 
your column should remain empty
or switch to SP 5 as said @ AC Cobra you may have a bug on your SP
