How to avoid the bend marks made by the prism in sheet metal?

Hello, we do stainless steel applications in sheet metal and we have customer complaints about the marks that the prism leaves on 2 sides of the bending radius. How can this be remedied?

Here is an example in the photo below, this is the line that we see after folding:

Hello

By inserting a silicone sheet between the part and the plywood vee.

By using the Trumpf RollBend, you also limit the bending marks.

Hello

We opted for filmed stainless steel sheet. For laser cutting, the film is pre-cut (spraying) and then the part is cut. So no more tooling marks on the folded parts, but then you have to tear off the film and when creating the cutting file, you must not forget to mirror the part so that the film ends up outside.

Hello

There are also ELADIP® type elastomer folding cushions to replace steel dies.

As "ac cobra 427" says, the filmed sheets most often do the trick.

the filmed sheets do not work, the folding V still tears the film and leaves traces, sometimes yes and sometimes no.
