How do you make a sketch image appear in a render?

Hello

I made a coat of arms of a city by doing "sketch tool" then "sketch insertion" and I glued this image on a sheet metal.

I would like to make a photoview rendering and make this image appear, unfortunately I only see the sheet metal without the image.

How would you do it?

Hello

Maybe by doing as described by our friend GT22 on the following post: http://www.lynkoa.com/forum/solidworks/image-desquisse-ne-saffiche-pas-ds-assemblage

Kind regards

Or you have to use the decal function to put your image

I haven't had the opportunity to watch the YouTube tutorial video, but I'm trying  to put my image in P2D format like the other decals already present but I don't see how to do it.

Hello

P2P creates itself when you save your decal.

The easiest way is to open an existing decal, to change the paths that lead to the image. then save it in a personal directory.

For the decal image, you can use any image (jpeg,..) at any location on your hard drive.
