Check back to see this part that I found I don't really know where but you can use it as a model, it was made with solidworks 2012
The shape you're trying to create is a honeycomb geode. It is not only composed of hexagons but of hexagons and pentagons (12 to be exact)
These pentagons are the vertices of the icosahedron.
The golf ball that Ac Cobra 427 has attached to you uses the method to use to create your soccer ball.
Isn't there a way to achieve it on the same principle (see video links)?
