What do you call rigid body?
In assembly, the parts can be moved:
The compass
an angle constraint
A scene
A body of parts is more delicate:
The simplest is a copy with a link and then a rotation transformation.
A copy as result moved by the compass
A copy as result + angular stress

This is not for an animation, it would be to impose a rotation of an entire part as a constraint in order to evaluate the stresses on other parts.
What I call rigid body motion is that I want the whole piece to rotate at a certain angle around an axis. This would be to rotate as part of a finite element analysis in the General Structure Analysis menu.
