I want to indicate in a drawing the dimensions that change compared to a previous drawing. The aim is to facilitate the work of the subcontractor to modify the CNC's program. I know the "triangles" for revisions, but normally I associate them with revision tables. Is there another way?
Hello, we use the revision bubbles with the tables. Next to each modified dimension we put a balloon with a letter corresponding to the modification index. If a rating is next to an A, then it has been changed to the A index.
A.Leblanc : It seems to me that the control symbol is a triangle on the tip, "not filled", but it's very similar, so maybe dangerous to use the diamond.
I have often seen "triangle / cloud revision" for index changes.
But it seems that the request is for the creation of one plan by analogy with another.
So new plan number, and beginning to a starting clue.
Small remark:
Put an alpha marker in a balloon, if it applies to an ASM, there is a risk of confusing it with an assembly bubble, unless you use layer management (and therefore color).
Similarly, by the way, seeing a bubble underline shocks me, because it risks confusing it with a rating.
Otherwise if it is a part, there is a risk of confusing it with certain machining information, such as the E in a circle, etc...? unless there is a management of layers (and therefore color) behind it.
To put the indices on the dimensions, I put for example the letter between prenthesis (A) after <Sun>(A) in the quote text, so that when I move the dimension, the index follows.
