How do I insert the link (path) of a file into my own drawing to help my colleagues find the plans?
About Solid Works 2016
I don't use PDM, only a server where everyone stores their projects.
Thank you

Everything is said in my tutorials on the subject:
http://tutoriel.solidworks.free.fr/crbst_178.html
Otherwise when you have an open file you go to FILE\look for references.
there is everything.
Kind regards
otherwise you create a note.
then in the detail of the note on the left, you click on 'Insert a hypertext link', you choose your plan.pdf file for example and you validate.
Insert a footer as for any document printing and there you have a host of parameters including the location of the file :)
Hello
Look in my tutorial; I have a plan with your need. You edit my background plan and look at the formula.
