How to insert an image into Solidworks 3D model

Hello

I want to add a jpeg type signage image to my 3D solidworks model.

Anyone know how to go about it?

The easiest way is to use the decals:

Hello

Tab: Appearances, Scenes and Decal (sphere with 4 colors)

Click on: decals

You take a decal that is offered to you (any decal) left click stay afuyed you drag it on the face of the part you are interested in, you let go of the left button.

In the dialog box (on the left) that has just opened, you click on: "browse" and you give the path where your image is stored. You adjust the dimension with the handles (blue squares on 3D).

Normally it's all good.
