How to automatically put a surface in a welded mechanic's plane of several configs

Hello everyone,

I have a plan to make and I would like to put all my configs in the same welded mechanics

except that there is a column (area) that I can't update on my own

If you have an idea

Attached is a jpg to understand my problem

For my first line which corresponds to my config 1 no problems but it's in my config 2 where my length changes that I can't put my surface automatically

thank you in advance

Hello, how is this property obtained?

I guess this surface is obtained with the welded part list and sheet metal sidewall  surface.

How is the multi-body part or a body with configurations on the long and wide of the sheet metal side.

Otherwise in your table (MEP) you have the length of the sheet but not the width so impossible to check the veracity or not of the calculation.

Send us your room tree to better understand  for everyone and why not room + MEP if possible (depending on SW version)

For my part (SW2020) on a multi-body part no problems the surface is good (hence my question about the configs)

Attached is my file

I don't want to show my width in my painting, the area and the length are enough for me

and since the surface is calculated from the sheet metal flank formula, normally no problem it is done automatically

What I would like to do is to make all my lines of welded mechanics of each config appear in a single table rather than saving a new plan each time

On my part sent, I have 12 configs, so I would need 12 lines in my welded mechanic panel

In this case rather than displaying the list of welded parts, why not insert the part family table (click on the part, insert, Table, Part family) by filling in the elements you want in this part family.

Add the width to be masked next, the surface (formula length x width), add your Hérackles flock...

Because in your welded parts list table it only displays the bodies used in the displayed  config (not possible for me to display in this table all the configs)

EDIT: With the image it's better

That's what I thought, but I hoped there was a solution!

yes I thought about the family of parts but I don't know I don't like it, but not too much choice I think
