How to Open .stp Format on Solidworks

I would like to open a file on solid works that is in . Stp

Could someone tell me how to do it. thank you in advance

file; open and at the bottom right of the filename you have to choose the STEP extension

Or you can drag your file into the solidworks graphics window

When you open in Solid, you click on the "all files" tab and you will find what you want.

I've already tried all these solutions, none of them work.

Thank you anyway.

The file was too large for my PC which lacked memory for the conversion calculation.

Problem solved.
