How to pass a 1st level "A" config as a derived config from another "B" config without going through a part family

Hi all

I have an ASM with two 1st level configs. I'd like to define config "A" as a config derived from "B".

Does anyone have a trick to do it without going through a room family?

Thanks in advance!

Hello

I don't think that's possible. Moving a configuration to make it a derivative is probably not allowed by SW because there are parameterization links between a main configuration and its derivatives.

So I don't see any other solution than to create a configuartion derived from config "B" then create a family of parts and transfer the parameterization of the constituents from config "A" to this derived configuration.
