I want to run several simulations following my model on Flow Simulation (Solidworks).
My model is an assembly of 3 pieces, 2 of these pieces are configured by a family table.
I want to run the same simulation several times with different configurations. However, I don't have time to do this during the day and wait for the end of the calculations (which usually take 15min) to run a new one.
So I wanted to know if you knew how to program Flow Simulation to run several simulations with different configurations in a row and on its own.
There is a function that I use quite a bit in the Simulation module and that is "design optimization". I imagine that there must be the same thing on flow simulation.
You create a table with the parameters you want to evolve (example: a dimension, a force...) you define the next step or the case studies that interest you. and then you give your objective (example minimum constraint, minimum weight, minimum dimension...) You plan all this for the night and in the early morning solidworks has calculated all the different studies one after the other. It shows you all the results and shows you the ones that best meet your set goals
