How do you project a 3d sketch onto the face of a sphere?

What kind of function do you want to use in the end? Separation line? ...

 

If that's the case, I would say that it's not possible...

 

You have to go through the projection of the 3D sketch into a 2D sketch, which will give an orientation for the projection on the sphere.

then with the 2D sketch => curves /projected ...
