How do I dimension an ellipse in a drawing on SolidWorks 2012

Hello

 

I currently have 2 ellipses to dimension in relation to the edges of my room but SW displays me as a message: "The selected entity could not be converted into a circular line or arc"

 

I therefore ask for your help. (I am in the first year of Bac Pro EDPI I have basic knowledge of the software)

By putting a point on the ellipsis, it should work.

I think your ellipses are in an unfolded?? If so; In the unfolded you create a sketch then you convert the 2 ellipse and then you draw the axes in the sketch. In the drawing you make the sketch appear and then you can  dimension them.
