How to create a database on MycadTools 2016?

Hi all 

I would like to know if it is possible to create a database on MycadTools 2016. 

Indeed, I have to create a database containing all the products already made by my company. This database should be used, in the event of a new order, to compare whether a similar product has not already been made in order to optimize production. The search for similar products is done via its characteristics.

While knowing that I have in my possession all the necessary definition plans.

Please note that mypdmtools can be used ONLY if you have EPDM (Product Data Management for SolidWorks).

If you have common custom properties in all your SolidWorks parts (and/or layouts), you can retrieve a listing, exportable in Excel, of all your parts via smartbom .
