Can you tell me how you go about searching for a word/text that is in a file in SolidWorks PDM. Because I tried to do this type of search with the "Global Search" card in the "Content" tab, but the PDM tells me that it is impossible to access the article in the database.

The search by content in the PDMworks databases requires, it seems to me, to open the server to the different users of the PDM. This is not recommended because it is too dangerous.
To overcome this, it is interesting to have a personalized search card (according to what is searched for most often in your home etc.) and not to forget the favorite searches. It's not worth the content but it's safer'
