How to Recover Files under EPDM Version 2020?

Hello

2 days ago, I was working on solidworks version 2017 and EPDM. Assembly components are saved, archived, and validated under EPDM.  

Following a solidworks version change (2017 to 2020), Solidworks asks me to save all the components of the assembly one by one during registration while the components are already archived under EPDM. This automatically puts the software in error. I can no longer use solidworks.    

How should I go about being able to recover files under EPDM version 2020 to avoid this?
