Can you tell me how to retrieve metadata from multiple Solidworks files in the form of an Excel table.
Let me explain:
- With previous versions of solidworks, when you right-click/Properties on a part in the explorer, and there are properties related to the document, you have a customize tab with the properties entered in Solidworks:
By having the metadata apparent as above and using metadata export software, one could extract and create a CSV file from several solidworks documents:
- With the 2015, Once the part has been saved in the solidworks 2015 version, the Customize tab disappears:
From windows, we no longer have access to metadata.
Is there a way to find the customize tab?
How can we achieve the same result with the new version?
