A bit of a general question here. I learned Solidworks "on the job" and as a result I have a lot of shortcomings in my opinion on certain functions/properties. In the context of a project, it is quite important that I become more professional in terms of its use, it concerns several aspects, namely:
-Robustness of part design, updates of these in assemblies (several people working on the same assembly, how to report changes to several users, how to integrate a new part into the assembly)
-Module for plastic/metal injection
-Design to cost
The first being the most important, I would have liked to know if you had any advice or feedback for training/tutorials/books etc... that you think you are useful for acquiring rigor or that you consider very important today to carry out your designs!
Without getting too far ahead of myself, I think that many of us have learned the essentials of SW on the job.... But why not get in touch with training organizations that offer SW training?
Visiativ, if I'm not mistaken... and others too. After that, if it's a question of cost, it's something else. But it allows you to take the CSWP certifications afterwards, always recognized on a resume
Otherwise I fully agree with ac-cobra, tutorials, videos, forums such as this one help greatly with learning. That's how I do it.
For very specific modules, it's true that information is scarcer, because users probably do too
By the way, I ask everyone, what percentage of SW possibilities do you think you will use it?
All Solidworks resellers offer training as well as many training centers such as AFPA, ENI, etc, etc ... And they should probably all be able to pass into your time savings account. You have to compare the programs to see which one will best suit your needs... On the other hand, going through your Solidworks reseller may make it easier for you to customize the content of this training.
