How do I delete the new document window when I click on split?

Dear Community, 

I managed to perform the operation in the past but it is impossible to find out how today. I'm on SW2019 SP3.0. 

I use the split operation a lot to design in multi-body, I just changed the version of SW and now when I click on split, the "new solidworks document" window opens automatically and offers me to create an assembly. Except I only want to use the split function to create multiple bodies in my share file. Has anyone ever faced this pb?

Maybe by the "Cancel" button?

Hello 

The cancel button does not allow you to avoid the window that opens but to close it...  

And I found the answer to my problem in the option menu/default templates, you have to check "always use default document templates".
