How do you delete an assembly in BOM without deleting the children?

Hello

In a "first level only" nomenclature, how do you delete an asm without deleting the children associated with that asm?

Example: I create an S/E comprising 1 screw, 1 washer and 1 nut. For example, if this S/E I integrate it in qty 3 in an asm, when I create a "first level only" nomenclature, it will put me in nomenclature: S/E qty 3.

I want to see appear: screw qty 3, washer qty 3 and nut qty 3.

Of course, I don't want to use the "parts only" option because I want to keep some S/E as it is in my BOMs.

How to do it?

Thanks in advance

Hello

In asm vis rdl ercou you have to go to the configurations, right click, property and check promote.

may the force be with you.

Indeed this option must be the right answer, very little known and well hidden. Well done OBI WAN!

And to complete, in the case of a "parts only" nomenclature, the "hide" box allows you to display an asm as a part (classic case of a cylinder or a part manufactured but modeled in the form of asm).

I have more difficulty explaining the nuance between showing and promoting...

I didn't know either. And it meets my needs perfectly :-)

Thank you OBI WAN,

And I had resigned myself to modifying lines by hand for years.
