I would have a tolerance of 0/-0.01 to notify on my plan for a depth rating.
Except that when I apply the tolerance it is added to the Ø of the hole and not to its depth.
I did specify in my document template the tolerance I wanted on the depth of the hole, but it would not reappear on the drawing when I use symbol for drilling, and I can no longer do it manually.
I would like to do this Ø5 (<HOLE-DEPTH> logo) 0/-0.1 but with the symbols
For my part, I would have seen simply a cross-sectional view with a sufficient scale to put the dimensions and tolerances and at the same time show that the countersink is flat-bottomed.....
Cyrille. CM is right to use "the right tapping dimension function"
after, yes it can be completed by a cross-sectional view, or other...
When using the Drilling Wizard in 3D, you must use its associated dimension "Symbol for Drilling". Because it brings all the information about the drilling down to automatic, as well as the quantities.
(yes the disadvantage of Solidworks which has not yet evolved on this point, is the presentation in an "in the axis" view)
What for? to simply no longer do any "semi-manual or forced scoring" in MEPs.
It's just a good habit to get into, but I know that the bad habit is very common unfortunately.
