How to View a . CATDrawing?

Hello

Is it possible to edit a file with the extension . CATDrawing, drawing from Catia without having the Catia software? I can read the . CATPart (part file) and . CATProduct (assembly file) with SolidWorks but not drawings.

I had the same problem in my old box and we had the Catia>SolidWorks gateway to open everything that was 3D files (CATPart and CATProduct) but unfortunately it doesn't work for CATDrawing plans.

I couldn't find anything at the time.

There are software that do this (Datakit for example) but it costs VERY much (Really BC). 

I had a presa encrypted with Visiativ to do something like this (CATIA -> Solid convesion with retention of MEP links). 

To be seen with your salesperson.

Thank you for your answers, but my need is mostly focused on a viewer.

I only want to be able to read the files like with Edrawing for example.

Nothing free.

You have to ask for pdf or dxf.

 @ ac cobra 427 the Edrawing publisher I've never seen it but it works from CATIA.

It creates an Edrawing file.

Otherwise, really, at worst, you can download Catia and use it for free for 30 days (trial version) like most software and do what you have to do and then uninstall it...
