ATTIC Software Compatibility

Hello.
One of my colleagues asks me if it is possible to export my SW 2023 sp5 models to something that allows the ATTIC software to exploit it.

In other words, can we get anything out of SW models via ATTIC? And why not vice-versa?

To explain a little more, my colleague would like to be able to extract quantities of concrete, concrete walls, concrete slabs and metal frames.

Has anyone had the opportunity to adapt their way of modeling in order to facilitate the exploitation of 3d by other services? especially in the construction industry.

Thank you for reading.
Have a good rainy day everyone.

Hello Itison_1,

For my part, with SW2022SP4, I can open BIM or IFC through a step.
It works but it is very long depending on the size of the file.
Check this out =>https://help.solidworks.com/2022/french/Visualize/r_visualize_other_file_formats.htm
Good luck, @+.

Hello

You should see what ATTIC accepts to import (see the help of the software or the corresponding menu).
SW can export IFC, but the step and iges can work, to be tested.
