Hello
Create a link and repeat along a curve
And to start with, here are some channels to download to see the design or, directly, use :)
Hello
See this tutorial:

You can activate the subtitles and even translate them into French.
Hi @npouget
Watch these videos

With that I think you'll get through it

Good evening
I create the links according to the manufacturer's quotation and I integrate a fixed point in the center following the 2 axes.
Then for the assembly I create a trajectory (= a sketch transformed into a trajectory), according to the original diameter of the sprockets installed (the best is to know the trajectory of your front chain).
So to finish with the assembly, I use the trajectory constraint which is in the mechanical constraints and I associate the points of my links on them and then so that the chain does not rotate around the trajectory, a parallel constraint following one of the 3 planes.
I'm not at work anymore, but at worst on Monday I'm trying to transfer you a piece of my chain.
A+
"Creating a link and making a repetition following a curve": In terms of performance in an assembly it's not great. (even with a "ballsy" station!!!)
And then what's the interest except that it's pretty on the screen.

Personally, I find your answer a bit rubbish!!
I agree with you, the chain representation is not necessarily useful, but hey if we go with your opinion, so for you, bearings, screws, circlips, sprockets... Everything that is used to dress up your models is strictly useless!
Modeling software has evolved so much that now we can get very close to the real representation, so why deprive ourselves of it?
It's true that modeling all the links is not an industrial solution, it's just good to take a selfie with, or in the background
A little humor doesn't hurt
