Side-in-assembly configuration

  Hi all!

Back on the forum for a fairly basic question... It's been a long time since I have practiced this procedure and therefore a little memory lapse... I hope you can refresh my memory ^^. Let me explain:

I have a part that I insert into an assembly.

This piece is found in several places in this assembly

It does not have the same size depending on its location

I would like to control its length according to the length of the part of the assembly on which it is placed. (Are you following me? ^^)

So I would like to insert this part several times while being able to drive it via different hills

I tried the configurations, the families of parts but without success (memory gap)

If I summarize, we would have to basically link part configurations to equations of assembly.

Do you have an idea?

Thank you;)

Hello

However, the family of pieces seems to be the perfect choice.

Here's something to refresh your memory: http://help.solidworks.com/2018/french/SolidWorks/sldworks/c_Design_Table_Configurations.htm?id=caeb03e8a9c546bb848320f4e5f88a9a#Pg0

It doesn't help me much...

I can't link the configurations of the part to the different sides of the assembly...

Attached is the assembly if it helps...
