Would you know the difference between a distance and length constraint in a CATIA sketch?

Hello:

Example on a segment.

The distance constraint applies when both ends of the segment are selected or preselected .

The length constraint applies when the segment is selected or preselected .

The difference:

If we dimension the sequence with a Length constraint (the destruction of the sequence causes the deletion of the end points, and the constraint).

If we dimension the segment with a distance constraint (the destruction of the segment does not lead to the deletion of the end points, and the constraint).
