I'm looking to represent a pneumatic pipe with a given bend radius in a SolidWorks assembly.
I don't want to use SolidWorks Electrical or any other routing function, just a 3D spline. I know how to mount the minimum radius of curvature on my spline but I don't see how to control this curve by a minimum radius of curvature.
If I understood correctly (to know when the radius of the spline is less than the minimum radius of curvature), a sensor on the radius may be enough, right?
Thank you for your .PL answer, but a sensor will only be able to warn me if I exceed my minimum radius of curvature value but does not allow me to create my spline directly in my 3D sketch.
You'll see on the capture, I know my entry point, my exit point, my minimum radius of curvature accepted by the pipe, so I want the spline to meet these 3 parameters.
However, I can only find an option to set the minimum radius of curvature.
A bit HS: for my part, I abandoned the curves to represent pipes and cables. I make a 3D sketch with 2 or 3 tangent arcs of a circle. That way I can put my mini shelf as I want. (see image)
