I am currently facing a file extension problem, because one of my colleagues made me plans in Solidworks (. SLDDRW) and to be able to industrialize and correct them, they would have to be transformed into Autocad format (. DWG) in order to read them. The problem is that we no longer have a solidworks license, which has expired. Could you convert all the files to DWG format?
Hello
Yes it's possible, it depends on how many files you're talking about and when you say you don't have a license anymore, you still have the software installed or not.
Hello
A SolidWorks license never expires, if you have purchased it is yours for life, you can no longer subscribe to updates but continue to use when SolidWorks.

Hello
I don't have the software or the license anymore so I'm looking for someone to convert the files on his own post
Thank you
Hello
There is a method to convretir them without SolidWorks, even if it is not very practical:
You can always open the files with Edrawing: www. edrawingsviewer.fr/
Then, convert them to PDFs, for example with PDFcreator http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/
Finally, convert them to DWG with one of these softwares:
http://anydwg.com/pdf-to-dwg.html
http://www.clubic.com/telecharger-fiche211278-overcad-pdf-to-dwg.html
Good luck!
