Conversion of an area with islands

Hi all

In my modeling, I have a recurring operation, which is the surface conversion in a sketch.

These surfaces include an external contour but also islands. (hollow tube profile for example)

To convert it, I am systematically obliged to

1. first convert the surface, which results in converting the outer contour

2. Convert the islands by selecting an edge of the block + the surface.

Is there a way to convert the whole thing at once (outer surface + inner islands???

Thank you in advance

I think that unfortunately it's not possible... Searched for many times on my side...

The quickest way is to select the face and convert the features to the outside, then for each "island" select a segment, right-click "select loop" and convert the features again.

Hello

Maybe with a selection filter (edges only) and with a bounding box or the lasso?

Otherwise, you have to right-click > select the loop on each one, indeed.

I found a solution:

1) Insert a sketch on the face where you want to convert the entities.

2) Select the intersection curve:

3) Select the body in the design tree.

Oh yes, well done @Lucas.

The history of body selection is subtle...

It will be of interest to all those who make joinery profiles...
