Convert SketchUp -> Creo or STEP

Hello

I have a SketchUp file that would be more useful on Creo, but I found nothing special about converting from SketchUp to Creo or neutral format.

Do apps such as Datakit or Elysium allow this?

I had the same problem and each time I was referred to the pro version of sketchUp.

The free version is a proprietary file.

Personally I haven't tried but I'm still looking....

He talks about export. AED and . KMZ only for 3D

The format I received  is a .skp format.

Small clarification, I don't have Google Sketchup.

The pro version is paid but there is a pro version of 30 day trials, maybe downloading it and trying it to be sure of what it can do could be interesting.

Unless you can ask the person who sent it to you if he can convert it into another format...

I found this forum that talks about conversion.

Hello

A Sketchup extension allows you to do this:

On the other hand, I have a hard time seeing if it's free and if it's available on the non-Pro version of Sketchup.

@ coyote

it's paid and the demo version seems limited in export....

Re

I just downloaded Sketchup 8 non-pro version and it is possible to do 3D DWG so then it must be possible to import this DWG into Creo.

I imported my Sketchup file in DWG 3D and with Creo it opens.

On the other hand, it opens with the loose parts and some are invisible if you don't click on them in the tree.

I think the Sketchup and Creo relationship is just not reliable.

Thank you for your help
