Convert a .stp file to a .sldprt

Hello

I would like to be able, from the attachment (.stp), to make a drawing by being able to size the radii, circles leaves etc... Currently, when you open it in SolidWorks, it's only multiple faces that make up the shelves etc...

Thank you for your help, it is much appreciated. ;)

Hello

Unless I'm mistaken, it is not possible to take the dimensions of a WWTP, but it is possible to add them to the MEP.

Kind regards.

AR.

Unfortunately, it's the step that gives this facetization, so no matter what software is used to open it, you'll have the problem.

On the other hand, you can draw sketches, in the view, based on 3 vertices of the polygon, which you can dimension.

To convert your surfaces to volume, this happens in the import options

It's at the time of import that it comes down

Hello @Franky3D

As the piece is super simple to achieve

In your place I will remodel this said piece

given the state of the faceted rendering

it is possible to recover the sides via the SW options

When reading your converted piece

(if I'm wrong it looks like a molded part)

Thank you all for the info. That's what I thought, there's not really an ideal way.

Have a good day and thank you again.
