So far I have managed to import a photo (.bmp) on a sketch nothing more.
I searched a little on the web, but I didn't find much. However, I don't think it's possible, but I stopped at the solidedge ST 2 verion (since then I've switched to solidworks). Apparently, you have to redraw based on the photo, see example on this video.
