Hi all.
Since the Draftsight update (V1R3.2 x64) when I copy a plot to paste it into a sketch in Solidworks 2013 SP 3.0, nothing is displayed.
My method is as follows: I open a sketch on a plan, I click anywhere to no longer see the plan displayed and I paste and there is nothing.
Before I had no problems, but if I do the same thing from autocad no problems.
Kind regards.

Hello
For my part, if the sketch plan is selected, it doesn't want to stick
But if the plan is not highlighted, it works.
I had it copied in draftsight (and not copy with reference point)
and Ctrl+V in solidworks. Then I zoomed in on the sketch otherwise
I didn't see it.

Hello
I have exactly the same problem.
Even the alternative solution of opening the DWG draftsight as a block in SolidWorks no longer works for me.
If anyone has a solution, thank you in advance.

With a block it made me crash solidworks.
Have you tried with blocks or a set of strokes?
Oroux1 I do everything the same but no sketch for me.

Re
There must be a problem with this new version of DraftSight.
I took a dwg with which I can copy paste or insert as a block, open it in DraftSight V1r3.2x64 and re-save it, then I can't do anything with this DWG in SolidWorks.

Re
I also think it comes from the new version of draftsight.
Before the Shift it works fine.

Re
I found, in this new version, the DWG is saved by default in DWG 2013 format, not compatible with SolidWorks 2013 at the moment. So you have to change this in the DraftSight options (see image).
It will therefore work to insert the dwg in bulk but not to copy and paste, you will have to wait for SolidWorks to be able to reread the dwg 2013 (certainly a future SP)

For me always the same problem.
Let's wait for the next update.
I'm closing, thank you for the help.
Kind regards.

You still have the problem in copying and pasting but you can block insert and choose your DWG
Hello coyote,
I haven't tried, I'll keep you posted.

RE
I confirm that for me even in block it doesn't work.
Kind regards.

Re
I'm talking about inserting a DWG file with the Tools /Block/Insert function and not about creating a DWG block. Do we agree!

Re
I didn't get it at first, I just tried but nothing SW loops and ends up crashing.
I tried with registration under 2010 and under 2006/2008.
Thank you anyway.
Sincerely, to the pleasure.

Here is a solution that can help while waiting for the update
You have to save the files in 2010 version maximum (I chose 2007 so no risk). It's the 2013 that even prevents imports into solidworks.
