Copy/paste as reference and display in (which) BOM

Hey community!

A question that bothers me and to which I can't find the answer on the web... so I need a PDM user (since I don't have it on hand anymore to do the test myself :disappointed_relieved:)!

When you copy/paste a file as a reference to a SW part or assembly with multiple configs, and you select the " show in BOM " option, does this file (this reference) appear in the BOMs of all configs? Or only the one of the active/selected config when you create the reference?

Hello

I just checked, it shows up for the whole file where the link is made. It does not take into account the active configuration.

(I was hoping deep down that it would only be for the active config, but hey...)

If ever, I have made a request for improvement:
SW PDM Paste as reference, show in BOM: ability to choose the configuration in which the reference is shown in the BOM. (3ds.com)
