Hello
How do I get quotes like this one on solidworks? (see attached image)
cotation_en_chaine.jpg
Hello
Right-click on the view and "Other Sides". Then ordinal, vertical etc... according to the choice.
I hope I understood your problem.
Kind regards.
Hello
I tried ordinal odds and I get this. It's true that it's the closest to what I want but I can't find a way to move the text to put it slightly above it
If you prefer I want to get this (see attachment) a baseline dimension align on the same axis but with the text paste to the opposite arrow to the baseline, horizontal text or not whatever.
I did it manually for the example but when you have 20 m of guardrail to do it take too long. I'm looking for an automation of the process.
I think that the orientation of the text of the call number must be changed
either in the drawing options, dimension section, or in the dimension tab
Hello
The ordinal dimensions do not have orientation settings that I know of.
If you want the horizontal text , make a standard horizontal dimension and hide the arrows.
All that remains is to line up all the ribs.
