Dimensioning a blend

Hello

I have to link a dimension between two parts and equations that manage internal dimensions of the components. So far, nothing complicated. However, my goal is that the main dimension (the one of the assembly) can be changed by a simple double click. The dimension represents the distance between two parallel planes of separate parts. I would like to point out that the coast must be easily accessible.

I tried to do this via an annotated dimension, but it's impossible to remove the Read-only attribute from an annotated dimension (or at least, I couldn't).

I have given you a little simplified example of what I want to do. Basically, I want the dimension (here RD1) to drive variable A (which itself will drive other sides, but that's not a problem). I would like to be able to access the odds without having to enter into equations or a component (if possible).

If anyone sees how to do it, I thank them in advance.

Kind regards

RB

PS: I work under SW2015

Hello

For my part, I often create a sketch in my assembly that contains my initial constraints (size,...).

Then, I model my parts by taking references in my sketch. I also create my plans from this sketch.

Finally, when the sketch is modified, the parts follow the modifications.

As Dis @ Dargaud

you create planes at the (perpendicular) end of the sketch and

you rate this sketch via an equation

this sketch can then be hidden

here it is @+

Ok, that's what I had arrived at. I thought I could do otherwise, but in the end, it will do.

Thank you both
