Parametric dimensions in Solidworks

Hello

I'm currently working on a CAD model of a machine, but I don't have the exact dimensions yet, so I wanted to use parametric dimensions so that I could make my model but to modify the dimensions whenever I want with a single click by putting a common variable between all the dimensions. Can you help me?

I don't understand your question

In SolidWorks you can change the dimensions when you want, just take the sketch of the function

now if you want the length to be 2 times + as big as the width

(example)

it is enough that your width rating is an equation width = length/2 

Now a single click is a problem

For a single click as you say you need to set all your dimensions via a dimension

but you are likely to be very emm.. er thereafter

You can also "tie the ribs"

 

Click on all the dimensions by pressing and holding CTRL and then right-click "link the dimensions"

 

The best would be to give a name to each of your ribs, at least the important +, then by going to the "equations" menu, you will have your complete list. All you have to do is modify it in the table.
