Solidworks Dimensions

Hello

When I create a sketch, the dimensions are displayed in meters. How do you put them back in millimetres?

Thank you

Hello

All you have to do is click on the units icon in the taskbar at the bottom of your window as visible in the screenshot.

Kind regards

Hello

Just click on "Options", then tab "Document Properties", "Units" and choose MMGS.

Good luck

Hello

Go to Option; ownership of the document; Units.

Be careful, you may have to change your . DOT if it's a new document.

To complete what Jose-Accessa says (and which is for me the right answer)

The units are saved in the document template, if the parts should always be in mm, once the units options are in the document property you need to save the part template by doing file, save as, and choose the parts template file extension (.prtdot)

Hi, on the other hand your units suddenly changed to meters?

yes Tomalam, that's exactly it, while in the properties I'm in mm

Maybe you got a little surprise update... ;)

Or maybe the file you opened was made by someone else who works in meters.

Is it possible to send us your file?

Otherwise save a copy under and send us the information you want.

Kind regards.

By changing the units to meters and putting them back to millimeters everything goes back to normal
