Hello 

What's your problem? Do you want to change the color of a rib or has the color changed? On a room or a plan?

I want to remove the highlight from the modified dimensions when opening the layer

If you click on the kind of rainbow it should remove them.

If you go to Tools  => Options => Colors (left bar).

At the bottom you have checkboxes, you have one that says: Use the specified color for the modified drawing dimensions when opened. Check it and do ok. 

It should solve your problem, I haven't tested it so I'd be interested to know if it works.

In fact, I wanted to change the color of the non-imported sides which were in light gray

-> system  /color/sides option not imported -> black
