Good evening
Is it possible to keep the colors assigned to solidworks parts during a step save?
or can we easily put colors on the step file?
We retrieve these steps in a robot trajectory simulation software and it's not always easy to distinguish each part in large grey tools.
If someone has a lead, we're all for it... Thank you

Hello

To keep the colors in the step files you have to save in step AP214. (see HERE).

Indeed it's all good, I don't know why I was recommended to record in AP203 step instead
