Color on 3D sketch and point from a native CATIA file

Hi all

I wanted to know if it was possible to recover when opening a
STEP file colors on points and 3D sketches. The recovered files come from CATIA on which the points and sketches are well colored.

Thanks in advance

Hello
Unless I'm mistaken, it depends on the export version in STEP. In AP203, no color, in AP214 colors are exported.

It seems to me that the step only exports the volumes (not the sketches).
Which in itself would answer the question!

Hello, if we receive a STEP file saved from a CATIA format, and on this STEP file there are indeed sketches and dots but of the same color. (orange).

I did the opposite way, to send the STEP format back to CATIA, and the colors come back well.

I had tried l='export from SW to SW in step and the sketch is deleted. Maybe an option not enabled. For your color problem, you should look at Catia.
The person who made the export did indeed do this export in AP214 step (the AP203 step does not take the colors cf @Cyril.f )

I think it's exported because it's a 3D curve.
In the import/export options, perhaps use this option:

And in the import in the general options look at the parameters curves and free points:

Not tested because I don't have a file that lends itself to it.
